Two aging gunfighters, Tenneray and Cross, seek financial stability, with Cross failing at gold prospecting and Tenneray profiting from his fame at the local saloon. Despite expectations of a deadly duel, the men develop an unlikely friendship. To earn money, Tenneray proposes a show where they fight in an arena, with the winner taking the ticket sales.
