The Marx Brothers infiltrate high society, as two opera-loving individuals face societal barriers to their romance. The man's inability to accept his role as an operatic tenor keeps the couple apart. The brothers orchestrate a series of zany stunts, orchestrating the normal tenor's absence to give the young lover his big break.
