A family of three women, with a son who is openly gay and married to his partner, come together to take a stand against their conservative church's discriminatory views on same-sex marriage.

In a small Texas town plagued by religious fanaticism and homophobia, three sisters - Latrell, LaVonda, and Aunt Sissy - take a stand against the anti-gay rally seeking to ban same-sex weddings in their county. They believe a wedding is just what's needed to bring some much-needed color and joy to the community.
