Tarzan must evade the advances of La, Queen of Opar, while also fending off threats from Bolshevik Rokoff and Clayton, who seek to claim Opar and the Greystoke estate. Along the way, he faces numerous challenges, including battles with lions, a treacherous pit, and a near-sacrifice to sun worshipers.
