Stuart Pearson's family spends a summer vacation in Michigan, where they rent an old lake house with his brother and family. When TV troubles arise, Stuart's son Tom and his sister's boyfriend explore the attic and roof, discovering a destroyed antenna and four alien invaders preparing to invade Earth. The quartet is trapped and must find a way to free the adults, discover the invaders' weakness, and devise a plan to save the planet.
