A former NHL enforcer, Mike "Army" Armstrong, is a down-on-his-luck drunk who's lost his way in life. After getting suspended from the league, he's forced to work at a bar owned by his ex-girlfriend's father, where he's confronted with her new boyfriend, a talentless lounge singer. As Army tries to redeem himself and win back his ex's heart, he must also contend with his own vices and a cast of colorful characters.
