Better Than Love

In a world of aspiring gangsta rappers, 19-year-old Jon's dream of leaving the suburban ghetto behind is shattered when his childhood friend, a drug dealer, is sent to prison. As Jon becomes the benevolent leader of his neighborhood, his loyalty is put to the test, and he begins a relationship with a beautiful recovering addict named AJ. However, after a severe accident leaves him immobile and disconnected from his phone, Jon turns to OxyContin to cope with his physical and emotional pain, and he becomes trapped in a cycle of addiction, struggling to save everyone around him while neglecting his own well-being.
