Betty Boop receives an invitation to attend a party at Grampy's house and gathers her friends, including a fireman, policeman, and moving men, who abandon their duties to join her. Upon arrival, Grampy showcases his Rube-Goldberg inventions and the group enjoys punch and cake. The party is soon filled with music, courtesy of Grampy's contraptions and the Hoosier Hotshots' performance of "Tiger Rag".
