Gustav Wilhelm Wicke, professionally known as Gus Wicke, came into this world on May 7th, 1885, in the charming city of Barmen, which has since been absorbed into the larger urban area of Wuppertal, situated in the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
As an accomplished actor, Wicke's impressive repertoire of film credits includes the 1935 production "The 'Hyp-Nut-Tist'", as well as the 1936 release "Greedy Humpty Dumpty" and the 1935 animated short "Betty Boop and Grampy".
Tragically, Gus Wicke's life came to a close on May 7th, 1947, in the picturesque town of Belleville, nestled in the state of New Jersey, United States of America.
