Two unemployed friends, Bud and Doyle, are living unfulfilling lives. Their girlfriends are passionate about environmental conservation, but the duo is apathetic. When scientists embark on a year-long experiment living in a self-sustaining "Bio-Dome", Bud and Doyle accidentally join the project.
