Tina, a customs agent with a unique ability to "smell" human emotions, stops a person from entering the country after discovering child pornography on their memory card. Her supervisor places her on a unit to find the producers of the material, and Tina is surprised to find a kindred spirit in Vore, an entomologist with similar physical features. As they work together and get to know each other, Tina begins to question her own identity and the life she has known.
