Amy Atwater, a software developer at Global Explorer, aspires to pursue her passion for photography. When a staff photographer becomes unavailable, Amy convinces her editor to give her the assignment to photograph the elusive waterfalls of the Pinewood Lakes area. Her goal is to capture images of Redwood Falls, a legendary waterfall with no official records. As she navigates the wilderness without GPS or trail markers, she meets Mark North, a tour guide, and his daughter Kyra.
