A man with extraordinary abilities, born from his exposure to toxic waste, uses his heightened senses and impressive martial arts skills to fight crime and protect the vulnerable.

Fate bestows a unique gift on Matt Murdock, an orphan who is exposed to hazardous waste. While the accident leaves him blind, it also grants him a heightened sense of awareness, allowing him to perceive his surroundings with extraordinary clarity. As he grows into a respected criminal attorney, Matt secretly moonlights as Daredevil, a masked vigilante who fights crime and injustice in Hell's Kitchen and New York City.
