Nina Novak, a young woman, befriends Nifty, the leader of an orchestra, and secures a gig for them at the Little Aregal Cafe by claiming to know the King of Aregal. However, things get complicated when Steve, who pretends to be the King, shows up and starts a romance with Nina. Later, the real King appears, causing further chaos.
