Unbeknownst to a group of friends, a fateful weekend getaway to a remote cabin near Crystal Lake sets them on a collision course with the wrathful Jason Voorhees.
Jason Voorhees, recovering from a close call with his own machete, seeks revenge on all who venture into his woods. A group of friends arrive to party near the campsite, unaware that Jason, fueled by a newfound strength, will be waiting for them, donning a hockey mask obtained from one of their own.
