A Hungarian Jew living in British Palestine volunteers to parachute behind enemy lines in German-occupied Yugoslavia to rescue fellow Jews from Nazi Death Camps. She joins a British Special Operations Executive paratrooper unit in Egypt and is parachuted into Yugoslavia with a few colleagues, then joins a partisan group. Despite warnings, she insists on continuing her mission into German-occupied Hungary, where she is arrested at the border and sent to a special prison.
