Upon arrival, they meet their niece Marilyn, who reveals that her husband is missing and her mother is in a coma. As they settle into their new life, the family faces various challenges, including Lily's encounter with snoopy neighbors, Grandpa's search for a cure for Elsa and his discovery of a videotape revealing the truth about Norman's disappearance, and Eddie's struggles at school with a local bully. Meanwhile, a Senate candidate arrives in town, and Grandpa uncovers the candidate's dark past.
