Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back is a story about two friends who embark on an adventure across the country to clear their names and seek fame and fortune. After being banned from selling drugs outside their local convenience store, they discover a movie is being made based on their likenesses and set out to get a share of the profits. Along the way, they meet a hitchhiking comedian, ride with a group of beautiful jewel thieves, and rescue an orangutan. Their journey takes them from New Jersey to Hollywood, where they face off against the police, the filmmakers, and a wildlife marshal in a battle to save their good names and the orangutan's freedom.
