Growing up in San Francisco's Mission district, Che Rivera has always had to be tough to survive. A reformed inmate and recovering alcoholic, he's worked hard to redeem his life and raise his son Jes on his own after his wife's death. However, his path to redemption is tested when he discovers Jes is gay, forcing Che to confront a part of himself he's never shown.
