Alex Jakoff, a Russian immigrant, finds work at a sex-toy factory and becomes smitten with Catherine, an aging adult film star, after being set up by the factory's owner, Mrs. Eppy. When the business is threatened with closure, Alex buys the place with funds from his Russian mafia family, but after it fails, he must make desperate decisions to survive.
