In a picturesque valley in Kashmir, a family appears to be living a life of happiness and love, but beneath the surface, the reality is far from idyllic. The son, Altaaf, is an orphan of war who has been adopted by a policeman and his wife, and is still struggling to come to terms with the trauma of witnessing his parents and sister being killed by a masked man. Years later, a rebel force discovers Altaaf's skills and recruits him for a secret mission, but he is driven by a personal obsession to kill the masked intruder who still haunts his nightmares - his adoptive father, Inayat Khan.
