Murder, She Baked: Just Desserts

In the small town of Eden Lake, Minnesota, a new murder takes place, this time discovered by dentist Norman Rhodes outside the local high school. The victim is Len Bishop, the school's basketball coach, who was a last-minute replacement as a judge for the semi-finals of the Eden Lake Bake-Off. Detective Mike Kingston leads the investigation, keeping Hannah Swensen, owner of the Cookie Jar Bakery and Café, informed as she is both an asset and likely to investigate on her own. The suspects include Len's wife, Michele, who suspected him of infidelity, Josh Reynolds, a second-string player, and the three finalists of the baking contest. As the investigation unfolds, incidents threaten Mike and Hannah's relationship, with Norman waiting in the wings.
