Out of Time

Matt Whitlock, the police chief of Banyan Key, Florida, is separated from his wife Alex, a Miami detective. He's having an affair with Ann Harrison, who's separated from her abusive husband Chris and claims to have cancer. When Ann's doctor recommends a costly treatment, Matt decides to use $475,000 seized from a drug bust to fund it. However, Ann and her husband are found dead soon after naming Matt as the beneficiary of a $1 million life insurance policy. As evidence mounts against him, Matt must uncover who set him up and recover the money while avoiding suspicion.
