A seasoned gambler, now retired, is recruited by a grieving widow to retrieve a cache of gold bars pilfered from a sunken riverboat in Colorado, with the objective of returning them to the Federal Mint where her deceased husband had secretly stashed them.
Sam Whiskey, a skilled individual, is approached by the charming widow Laura with a lucrative offer. She asks him to recover stolen gold bars from a sunken ship and secretly return them to the mint before they're missed.
