Shiva Kumar, a Sub-Inspector with Mumbai Police, relocates to the city from Sangli to live with his brother, Daksh, and his family. However, instead of conforming to traditional police practices, he befriends a rebellious journalist, Sandhya Joshi, who is determined to expose the corrupt relationship between the police and the underworld. This friendship puts him at odds with his superiors and a powerful politician, Bappu, a former underworld don.
