In a small town, a family of three lives in a Bed and Breakfast, where a woman and her adopted son struggle to connect with each other. The son's constant crying drove his father away, and the mother is now left to care for him on her own. Meanwhile, a series of mysterious coyote attacks plague the town, leaving many injured. When the mother takes her son to the hospital, a doctor helps him, and the boy's crying ceases.
