An alien, similar to Ra, emerges from the Stargate, killing five soldiers and abducting another. A year after the initial mission, a new team is formed to find the missing soldier and uncover how Ra could still be alive. During their search, they discover that the Goa'uld have kidnapped two individuals, Sha're and Skaara, and turned them into hosts for their symbiotes.
