In the early 1970s, Gustad Noble's daily life is set in motion as he resides in a modest one-bedroom apartment in Byculla, Bombay, and commutes to his job at the Central Bank in Victoria Terminus.

Gustad Noble, a working-class man, lives in a small apartment in Bombay with his wife and three children. He works at the Central Bank of India and commutes daily by train and on foot. Despite the challenges of living in a dirty and crowded neighborhood, Gustad finds a way to bring positivity by hiring a pavement artist to create a vibrant and inclusive community space. However, his involvement with a rebel RAW agent, Major Jimmy Billimoria, threatens to upend his life when he receives a large sum of money to be deposited in small installments at his bank. As tensions escalate between Pakistan and India, Gustad must navigate the consequences of his actions and the danger that comes with being involved in a sensitive and potentially volatile situation.
