A giant primordial shark, released by an offshore drilling accident, wreaks havoc on a beach by flying and walking on land, putting a bikini contest in danger. Marine biologist Kat Carmichael must stop the shark and save the beach-goers, but her efforts are hindered by a corporate executive and his assistant who prioritize profits over people. With time running out, Carmichael enlists the help of a heroic skipper and a fearless disc jockey to defeat the shark and restore safety to the beach.
