A 12-year-old boy named Adam is still grieving the sudden death of his father when he discovers a wounded pilot hiding in his garage. The pilot is revealed to be an older version of Adam from the future, who has risked everything to travel back in time on a secret mission. Together, they embark on an adventure to find their father, set things right, and save the world. Along the way, the two Adams must learn to work together and come to terms with their father's death, despite their initial dislike of each other.
