When a team of scientists, led by Dr. Nicolai, stumbles upon a hidden cave system, they hire a team of skilled divers, the brothers Jack and Tyler, to explore its depths. But as they delve deeper, a series of explosions and eerie discoveries lead them to a terrifying reality: a mysterious parasite is transforming all living creatures into monstrous predators, and they are not alone in the darkness.
