Lena Headey is a Bermudian-British actress of immense talent and versatility, known for her captivating performances in a wide range of film and television productions. Born in Hamilton, Bermuda, to British parents Sue and John Headey, she spent her early years in Bermuda before moving to England with her family at the age of five.
Raised in Yorkshire, Headey developed a passion for the performing arts and, despite not attending drama school, began her acting career at the age of seventeen with a one-off show alongside six school friends. Her performance caught the attention of a casting agent, leading to her big-screen debut in Waterland (1992).
