Anthony spends a weekend with his struggling, drunk father Walt while his mom and stepfather attend a Catholic retreat. Their day is filled with mishaps, including a broken-down truck, locked-out house, and stolen toolbox. As they work together to recover the stolen tools and adapt to their misfortunes, Walt and Anthony develop a deeper bond, leading Walt to become a better father and Anthony to show promise as a good person.
