Luvia Petersen's early life was marked by a significant relocation, as her family moved from Montreal, Quebec to Alberta when she was just six years old. This formative experience would later influence her life and career. Years later, in the late 1990s, her family made another pivotal move, this time to British Columbia, where she currently resides.
Petersen's journey into the world of acting began with a two-week program at the esteemed Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts. Her dedication to the craft was evident, as she went on to enroll in the academy's six-month full-time Dramatic Arts Program, further honing her skills.
In addition to her thriving acting career, Petersen is also a successful entrepreneur. She co-owns and manages a tattoo studio in Vancouver, aptly named Liquid Amber Tattoo. This creative venture is situated in the historic Gastown area of Vancouver, a testament to her entrepreneurial spirit and passion for the arts.
