A troubled boy named Sam is haunted by terrifying visions and self-harms. After a hospital stay, his doctor recommends a stay with his father, David, to help him cope with the stress of his parents' divorce. David takes Sam on a road trip, but their journey is disrupted when Sam's visions cause a car accident. They're rescued by a farmer named Ben Zachary, who offers David a job on his farm and enrolls Sam in the local school. As Sam settles in, he discovers that Zachary is hiding a dark secret and that the farm is actually the Garden of Eden, where Zachary is plotting something sinister against David.
