A long-standing feud between two lion prides is on the brink of resolution, as a youthful lioness's actions could bring about a historic peace.
Kiara, the daughter of Simba and Nala, escapes her babysitters and befriends a lion cub named Kovu in the forbidden lands. Unbeknownst to her parents, Kovu is the son of Zira, a follower of the late Scar, who plans to raise him to overthrow Simba and claim the throne.
