Robert Peter Williams Guillaume was a renowned actor of great talent and versatility, hailing from the vibrant city of St. Louis, Missouri. His impressive repertoire of roles included the iconic character of Rafiki in the beloved Disney classic, The Lion King, as well as the memorable parts of Benson DuBois in the popular television shows Soap and Benson, and Nathan Detroit in the iconic Broadway musical, Guys and Dolls.
Throughout his life, Guillaume was blessed with a loving family, having been married twice and fathering five wonderful children. Despite his many accomplishments and accolades, his greatest joy was undoubtedly his family, whom he cherished deeply.
Tragically, Guillaume's life was cut short on October 24, 2017, when he succumbed to complications related to prostate cancer. His passing left a gaping hole in the hearts of his loved ones, as well as the countless fans had who been inspired by his remarkable talent and enduring legacy.
