A washed-up Vegas lounge singer, Jack Satin, leaves his failing career behind to head to Atlantic City, but his car breaks down in the small town of Lost Springs. He meets a jazz legend turned mechanic, Doc Bishop, who helps him repair his vehicle. Jack finds himself feeling at home in the town and begins to reconnect with his passion for music, thanks to Doc's encouragement. He also meets a charming bartender, Lauren Wells, who becomes his audience and helps him realize that there's more to life than chasing fame.
