The Plunderers background

The Plunderers

As a cavalry officer, John Drum embarks on a mission to apprehend the notorious outlaw Whit Lacey, but their pursuit is soon overshadowed by a more urgent threat: a fierce Sioux war party that prompts them to set aside their animosity and join forces to survive.

In the 1870s, outlaw Johnny Drum escapes a general store after shooting the sheriff, only to be followed by posse members. He's aided by bandit Whit Lacey, who becomes his partner in crime. Unbeknownst to Lacey, Drum is an undercover army officer, and their partnership is a ruse to capture Lacey. However, Lacey finds out the truth and allows Drum to leave. Later, Drum and the deputies capture Lacey, but before he can be tried, a Sioux attack interrupts the proceedings. Drum and Lacey must put aside their differences to defend the fort until reinforcements arrive, fighting alongside each other once more.
