In 1961, a UN peacekeeping mission led by Commandant Pat Quinlan is deployed to Katanga, Congo, to protect the people of Jadotville from the onset of a civil war. As the situation escalates, Quinlan and his troops face a daunting challenge when they are vastly outnumbered by Katangese and mercenary forces after a reprisal attack.
