An innocent man teams up with a passionate teacher to clear his name and win over a skeptical lawyer.

Three individuals, a high-school teacher, a renowned law professor, and a gardener, find themselves living together in a rental house. The law professor hires the teacher as his live-in cook and secretary, while the gardener is hiding in plain sight as the teacher's childhood friend who has just escaped from prison. The friend was wrongly accused of arson and murder and is seeking help from the professor, who is about to be appointed to the Supreme Court.
