A legendary 1960s music festival, hosted by Jan and Dean, features a diverse lineup of iconic rock, R&B, and pop artists from the era.

Chuck Berry kicked off the show with "Johnny B Goode" and "Maybellene". Gerry and The Pacemakers followed with their British version of the song and a medley of their hits. Next up were Billy J Kramer and The Dakotas with "Little Children" and "Bad To Me". The Motown crew was represented by Diana Ross and The Supremes with "Baby Love", Smokey Robinson and The Miracles with "You've Really Got A Hold On Me", and Marvin Gaye with "Hitchhike". Lesley Gore sang "It's My Party" and "You Don't Own Me", a hit before the "women's lib" movement. Jan and Dean hosted as the "early surfer" duo, singing "The Little Old Lady From Pasadena". The Beach Boys performed "I Get Around". James Brown made his first national TV appearance, singing "Out Of Sight", "Prisoner Of Love", "Night Train", and "Please Please Please" with his signature cape. Finally, The Rolling Stones closed the show with "Time Is On My Side", "It's All Over Now", "Around and Around", and were joined by a festive cast for Mick Jagger's rendition of "I'm Alright".
