Sean, a man with a rent due and a booted car, must find a way to make ends meet. He gets a job at a local car wash, The Wash, where he becomes the supervisor of his best friend Dee Loc. However, their comic rivalry is put on hold as they face more serious issues, including threatening phone calls and a kidnapping plot targeting Mr. Washington, the car wash's owner.
