A convicted serial killer, Ryan Weaver, boards a nearly empty transcontinental flight on Christmas Eve. He overpowers his guards and begins to eliminate the other prisoners and crew members, leaving only one passenger, Teri Halloran, alive. The movie follows their intense game of cat and mouse as Ryan tries to evade capture and Teri fights for survival.
