Wealthy businessman Calvin Claymore faces a crisis when his efforts to pass a bill to aid Europe's starving children are derailed by a personal tragedy. After a chance encounter with a dancer at a nightclub, Claymore is accused of her murder when her body is found, despite his alibi.
