After World War II, Bob Wallace and Phil Davis joined forces to become a renowned song-and-dance duo. Davis played cupid, introducing Wallace to a pair of talented sisters, Betty and Judy, who also performed as a musical act. When the sisters headed to a Vermont lodge for a Christmas show, Wallace and Davis followed, only to discover their former commander, General Waverly, running the resort. A series of romantic misunderstandings unfolded as the performers worked to help the General.
