In 1975 Brooklyn, 18-year-old Brian Leary is stuck in a life of petty crimes with his older brother Danny. Brian secretly dreams of being an artist, but his family's blue-collar roots and the neighborhood's expectations weigh heavily on him. When the Rolling Stones announce a one-hour stop at the local movie theater, Brian sees an opportunity to make a change.
