In the beginning, God created life in the universe, giving birth to angels, men, and djin, creatures doomed to inhabit the void between worlds. Those who awaken a djin are granted three wishes, but upon granting the third, an unholy legion of djins is freed through a doorway between worlds on Earth. In 1127 AD, a sorcerer trapped a powerful Djinn in the "Stone of Secret Fire" in Persia. In modern times, a crane operator's drunken mistake drops the valuable Ahura Mazda statue, and a worker finds the priceless opal red stone containing the Djinn. The stone is sent to an auction house for evaluation, where Alexandra Amberson accidentally awakens the Djinn. The malevolent creature feeds on people's fears and souls, pursuing Alexandra to force her to make three wishes and unleash demonic fiends on Earth.
