Walter T. Phelan is a renowned Special Effects Actor, celebrated for his captivating portrayals of iconic characters, including the enigmatic Dr. Satan in House of 1000 Corpses (2003),a demonic entity in Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight (1995),and a terrifying Zombie in From Dusk till Dawn (1996).
Throughout his life, Walter has been an ardent aficionado of the horror genre, embracing a vast array of cinematic masterpieces, including Silent films, 1930s and 1940s Universal movies, 1950s giant bug movies, 1960s Hammer Horror, and 1970s and 1980s slasher films.
Following a successful career in the special effects field, Walter's ultimate aspiration was to transition into acting, specifically in the horror film genre. His opportunity to do so arose thanks to the guidance and mentorship of Todd Masters and Scott Patton, allowing him to make his debut in The Prophecy and Tales of the Crypt: Demon Knight.
Walter has had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed companies such as K.N.B., EDGE FX, OPTIC NERVE, and many others, amassing an impressive filmography of sixteen films and over twenty television shows, commercials, and music videos.
In addition to his acting career, Walter is a natural-born drummer, with a passion for music that dates back to his teenage years. Inspired by the likes of Alice Cooper and the Punk/Metal scene, Walter initially joined Cold September, a new wave deathrock band, before moving on to RF7, a So Cal hardcore punk band.
In 2017, Walter joined Pat Todd and The Rankoutsiders, an American Rock & Roll band, solidifying his status as a multi-talented artist with a diverse range of creative pursuits.
