In a society of mutual fear between humans and mutants, Rogue, a young mutant on the run, finds refuge with Wolverine, a fellow mutant, before Professor Xavier's team, including Storm and Cyclops, is sent to retrieve them. Meanwhile, Magneto, anticipating an impending war, seeks to recruit Rogue for his own sinister purposes.
